Ok I’m planning a trip to Chicago in July… I need some help on hotels! I need to find one within a reasonable price (I don’t need to stay at the Ritz or anything) and close to the city if not IN the city. Any help would be greatly appreciated… I’ve had the most awful time trying to find something within reason. We don’t want to spend a ton of money on a hotel b/c we’re not going to spend much time in it… thank you all…

by no fault of their own (weather conditions to be specific) if they have a medical condition that does not allow them to sleep on the airport benches?

My friend and her dad had a flight at 6pm to Chicago. It did not leave till 8pm because of bad weather in Chicago. Her dad is very ill and cannot spend the night at the airport. They missed their connection because of the delay. Is the airline obligated to pay for a hotel for them?

Considering luxurious but affordable hotels, entertainment (clubbing for ages 18-25), outdoor activities, nice upscale restaurants, and shopping…and some “must sees” of either area.

My family and I are going on Vacation in July to America. There are 5 of us. Do most places allow 5 people (3 kidsand parents) to stay in a quad room? We want to stay in the safe central areas (if possible) in the different cities mentioned. Could you please tell me some reasonable hotels or motels which are in very safe and secure areas in the different places are and areas to avoid.

What area is a good place to stay in Houston for a couple of nights? Chicago? Boston etc?

We’re from Australia. What are some good places to stay which aren’t too expensive? Just reasonably priced. We will also be staying in Sandusky Ohio (going to Cedar Point!!! for a couple of days) which is a good place out of the hotels etc offered by Cedar Point?

Also, where is the best place to stay in New Braunfels, Texas or close to Schlitterbahn water park? Thanks for your help!

How can I wait for someone at the international terminal of O’Hare without freezing to death in 2 weeks?

Corey L asked:

I’m going to be going to Chicago on February 1st. On February 2nd, a friend of mine from South Korea will be joining me. I will be coming into Chicago via Amtrak, and taking my hotel’s shuttle bus to O’Hare. My friend will be arriving in Terminal 5 (The International Terminal, obviously). I spoke with an operator at O’Hare, and asked about how I would go about meeting up with my friend, and she told me that I would not be able to have any access whatsoever to the terminal unless I myself had a ticket. I asked if there was any threshold between the exit doors and customs where I would be able to stand and wait, lest I stand outside for 30-45 minutes in freezing temperatures. she couldn’t answer that question.

So basically, what I’m trying to do is figure out a meeting place for my friend and I to arrange that won’t confuse either of us without me freezing to death. Is this at all possible, or should I pack two layers of clothes for this day?

Three of us are going to Chicago and we know ZIP! What are some good places to go to that are also relatively cheap. We’re college students so we’re kind poor. Clubs, hotels, anything, points of interest. Please any chicago natives, let us know
restaurants, activities, etc
