I think you need chill out and relax with visiting the place that is been reviewed by Cebu Night Life, Cebu at Night

The Signature at MGM. It is a little pricey. A 2bdrm (which is a one bedroom and a jr. suite together) may cost you around $3000 for 5 nights. The nice thing is there are kitchens there. It is a beautiful property that Granny really would like! Take a look at.

The Rio is all suites, the Venetian is all suites…Jockey Club is nasty…don’t go their - Granny will not like it one bit!

With 8 - 10 people though, you are going to have to get more than 2 bedrooms…that’s pretty cramped.

The trip time will depend on traffic.

From most resorts on Mactan island to the centre of Cebu City is
- Up to 2 hours in peak afternoon traffic
- About 30 to 40 minutes normally
- About 20 minutes late at night

There is adult and non adult nightlife on Mactan island, if you don’t want to travel.

However, in my opinion, all the best nightlife activity, adult or otherwise is to be found in Cebu City. So, I personally would just stay in a hotel in Cebu City then pay to visit a resort on Mactan Island in the day time, if you can find the time.

The Belden Stratford is on Lincoln Park West just south of Fullerton. So, you’re about 4 1/2 - 5 miles from the Museum Campus (Shedd, Adler), about 26 blocks (about 3.25 miles) from the Sears Tower, and about the same to Navy Pier.

Cabs are expensive if you use them all the time to get around. Buses and trains are reasonably close to where you’re staying, and use the RTA Trip planner to see how you can get from place to place on public transit. The trip planner also tells you how much the trip will cost.

Sounds like Embassy Suites might be your best choice.
It is NOT very close to the strip
You can get suites in most of the hotels, however they are quite pricey
Call the Monte Carlo and ask them to quote you a price
Also, contact the MGM directly (they have 3 bedroom suites)

I dont know where the hotel is. You can get maps from City Train Station and they will tell you how to take public transport to those places you want to go. Also you can buy one day or two days pass ( I am not sure how many types right now but the leaflet from Train station will tell you). You can take both bus and city train by using one transportation card and there is free transport hours ( should be 2 or 2.5 hours). Taxi is quite expensive, normally 15 mins will cost you 15 - 18 depends on the traffic conditions.

go to mapquest.com and map out a route from your hotel to your destinations. This will give you a great route and let you know how far apart things are. Good luck and congratulations!
