How do I find MAC flight terminal locations?
Find flightsheather j asked:
Hi, my husband is joining the US Navy, and we wanted to find a list of the MAC flight terminals so we can have a better idea of how we will be able to travel when he is in the navy. I pretty much understand how they work, I just cant find out where the actual terminals are.

MAC is now AMC Air Mobility Command. It changed back in the early 1990’s. I’m not sure you really understand just how difficult it is to catch a flight Space “A” these days. You also need to understand the likelihood of getting stranded short of your destination and the even more likelihood of not catching a flight back.
Just about all military air fields have a passenger terminal. The frequency of flights, and where they fly to, is really variable.

what flights are available change frequently, so there really is no list.
besides to travel Space A is NOT the most reliable means out there, especially if your sponsor will not be around. dependents can only travel Space A alone CONUS under 2 circumstances: if their sponsor is deployed for more than 120 days or their sponsor is PCS OCONUS on unaccompanied Orders.
Don’t expect to travel around the world free for nothing. It is hard enough to get a seat when you are on orders, let alone the second lowest category of Space A.

Due to security the actual bases and schedules are classified…Here is a site you can gain some info, but not specific.
Just read the posts.

Just to add what the chief says, the source gives some information. Click the “here” hypertext for information. At the bottom of the document that opens is a list of facilities with links and phone numbers.
