I am going to Paris for 2 days for the very first time and my friends have recommended me to stay close to Champs-Élysées. Any idea on which website can help me find a cheap hotel? Also how far is the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dam from Champs-Élysées because I intend on visiting these 2 place!

Go to PRICELINE.COM enter the city and dates. When the results come back select the “Arc de Triomphe - Champs Elysees” area and name the price you want to pay. If no hotels bite then up your proce a bit. You can get good deals. Last week I stayed at a 5 star hotel for $99/ night. Could not beat that, it was $150 off the price. Good Luck!

Your friends have given you bad advice. You ought to stay in either the Latin Quarter( 5th arr.), the Marias (4th arr.) or the St. Germaine (6th arr.)
Take a look at this site for cheap hotels () Place like Priceline, Expedia and Travelocity just don’t deal with really cheap hotels in the City center.

i’m sorry pal, but there is No cheap hotel on the Champs Elysee. it’s like asking if there is Cheap hotel in Beverly Hills! you don’t need to be close to The Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame. you can find any cheap hotel in any ”arrondissements” in paris and visit whatever you want by taking the subway. i don’t live in paris but you can make a research on google. type hotel in 14th arrondissement in Paris or 15th or 17th. i hope that can help you out.

Hi ! Welcome to Paris
my piece of advice :
But it is only for Hostels, not for Hotels. The Champs Elysées is so expensive and maybe, is not the best place to stay if you want to go to Notre Dame and Tour Eiffel.
1) Be carreful, most of subway connexion are cloed in sommer, i mean concerning the “strategic” lines.
2) From Champs Elysées (besides Arc de Triomphe) you can walk and reach the Eiffel Tower in 20-25 min.
3) St Michel is a touristic place, cheaper, you can find nice and cheap restaurants, and it is close to Notre Dame.
Maybe the best place is around Chatelet, in the heart of Paris city, and you have all subway connexion there…

Go to the Novotel in Paris. It’s a wonderful hotel nice lobby, nice restaurant on 1st floor, gym outside, near Eiffel Tower, and descant size rooms with one bed, a pull out coach, LCD T.V, and a gorgeous bathroom.

If you want to stay near Champs Elysees, try in the Rue de Berri is a street to one block from Champs Elysees and there is many hotels there not very expensive. Or try the streets that cross Champ Elysees, there is many hotels there.
But for cheapers hotels in Paris nothing like Quartier Latin.
Good luck!!
