I am trying to get the cheapest flight there is to go to Vegas on June 24th, 2008 (round trip). I was sure I could find something under $200, but nothing.

I generally check travelocity, or expedia. Often the specific airline website can save you a couple bucks on the cheapest flight found on a “travel site”.

Southwest.com has the cheapest fares.

Have you tried orbitz.com, worryfreevactions.com, or travelocity.com those are my fav. look everyday prices change alot. You can book a hotel and flight combo cheaper then just flight most of the time.

You may contact UA.com , Continental.com or American airlines.com,
Besides this also sites such as Lastminute.com etc provide good rates if booked in advance. But be sure about terms of ticket such as refundable or non refundable. Also check the reliability of airlines schedule.

What is your starting location? One thing to remember is USAir has a hub in Las Vegas, so I’d check there Also check Southwest. Remember, it’s cheaper to fly on Tues, Thr, Saturday. Planning in advance doesn’t necessarly mean the cheapest fares. As long as you get your tickets two weeks in advace, you’re ok. Prices fluctuate often, so don’t just buy unless you get a steal of a deal. Good luck!
