   Go to TripAdvisor.com, where you can read comments from past guests at hotels. This can help you decide whether a particular hotel fits your needs.

   You can also go to CruiseCritic.com, click on “Boards” at the top of the page, then go to “West Coast Departures”, and either do a search for LA or just browse to find info from experienced cruisers.
