Can someone find me a cheap hotel in London?
UncategorizedK-bo asked:
I have tried using Travelocity and such and it’s just a pain because I find a hotel for a good price and a good location, only to find out that the hotel is booked or the price was for a single person only and can’t fit 2 people in the room or the room has a shared bathroom with another hotel room, etc. I am looking for a hotel thats in the ballpark of $115.00 (US dollars), and that is in the main touristy section of London so I can walk to the main sites. I need the hotel for the night of Friday April 6.

Easy Hotel is probably the cheapest that you’ll find in London. It’s very basic, but it’s cheap … You’ll want to choose ‘twin for sole use’ so you don’t have to share with anyone else. I’ve not used easyhotel, but I think it’s a genius idea!

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been there so I’m not sure of the current price, but you might want to look at the Ibis (Euston); it’s fairly inexpensive for London, and while it isn’t in the middle of everything its location is great because it is right next to the Euston tube station, hop on and go wherever you want! Also it’s within walking distance of Regent’s Park (http://www.royalparks.gov.uk/parks/regents_park/).

Try the Hoxton Hotel. It’s a recently opened, very cooll boutique hotel in the funky area of Hoxton (loads of great bars and restaurants). Because it’s not CITY CENTRE (but still very close) rooms are available on April 6th at £49
PS - the Hoxton is a 4 star hotel!
Another option is the ‘easyhotel’ (as in easyJet - the now famous low-cost airline). Very basic rooms but available at £45 on April 6th.

You could try booking a travelodge room quite cheaply.
I would check the review for the hotel on before you book though.
Also try they give you good info on the hotel and also a discount. (again, check on trip advisor for reviews)
